Moose Hunting Ballet
Moose Hunting Ballet is a production that has been created by professional and amateur ballet lovers in Oulu. This group is known as H.I.R.V.I. Through this piece, the makers want to encourage everybody to look at ballet without preconceptions. In the Moose Hunting Ballet, you can experience Finnish hunting culture mixed with folk tradition and mythology in a new and exciting way! Its purpose is to promote the ballet culture in Oulu and to attract attention of both youth and adults who would like to try ballet as a hobby. Ballet is definitely an art form that can bring joy and wellbeing into people’s everyday lives. The whole H.I.R.V.I group welcomes everybody to see the show!
